Mumbai

_________________________________

Blasts in Mumbai have, at this point, killed at least 179 people and wounded 700.

700

The Lashkar-e-Toiba have apparently taken credit.

Barnita, who is thankfully alright in all this madness, has continuing coverage.

Rivers of blood before reason.

barnita is from Mumbai - but it seems, she is ok

watching the news i started to watch myself - isn't it something like crazy, that you really get used to the violence - Mr. Bush, thank you!!! - all the blasts and the rapings and the killings in the name of God and Freedom (WHAT a god and WHAT a freedom to be raped, maimed and killed - i can easily abandon both)...

and then there is this name - far away, you never were there - "Mumbai" and you think: how's barnita?

OUT TOPIC.

I've been banned from the american bar association, because my post was unamerican and more for international laws.

Here is the post on my blog:

http://politiquesusa.blogspot.com/2006/07/there-is-something-bigger-than-war-on.html

and here is where I was censored:

http://tokvil.hautetfort.com/archive/2006/06/30/hamdam-v-rumsfeld.html

It is the case of Hamdam versus Rumsfeld.

I did tell that SCOTUS needed a big punch in its nose and some lawyers disagreed with me. I told more things... I told that GWB was a murderer and there was something bigger than the "war on terror", and it was called the war on truth. I also told them it was a bullshit to take an oath in the US to defend the countries against enemies because the only enemy is the US. And I told them also that I do want GWB into the ICC, and I also told them I had the financial power to do that. So they were not pleased about it... I am not only speaking my mind. There is a reason why I said "fuck France".

What's Israel's REAL motivation? Does anyone believe even the Israeli's would react so disporportionally to a few captured (NOT kidnapped) soldiers? Or am I being too generous with Israel here, in thinking that even Israel couldn't be this thoroughly bloodthirsty, pathological, and completely unreasonable?

Questions to ponder:

IF Israel and the U.S. were about to attack Iran or Syria, would Israel keep all its military hardware in Israel (inside the Green Line), where it would be an easier target for counterattack, or would it find excuses to move its weapons into the occupied territories and Lebanon, where Palestinians and Muslims would be de facto human shields?

IF Israel and the U.S. were about to attack Iran or Syria, wouldn't the most strategic location for Israel's ground forces be in the occupied territories, adjacent to many Muslim countries that might be tempted to come to Iran's aid (Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia)?

I think we are seeing the beginning of a much bigger, premeditated confrontation under the guise of stopping "terror," Israel's word for Palestine's self-defense.

Glad to see you are ok, Barnita. I went to your blog last night to check if you were ok.

The US-Israel terror force is by far the biggest problem in the world today. What happened in Mumbai was horrific. I feel sick about it, but for the US and Israel, that kind of killing is routine.
