Olmert and Bush: The Deciders

__________________________________

The right and the criminally uninformed (yeah, I know) still sneer whenever you say that Bush's puppetmasters have world domination on their minds.

Regime change, for those of you that rode the small bus to school, is about taking over another country and giving them the government we think they should have.

But wait! It gets better!

Now, America and Israel, with our combined Judeo-Christian might, can also form nations, as they see fit.

Bush speaking at a G8 presser is asked about the situation between Israel/Palestine and the rest of the ME homies:

But let's step back for a minute. We were making progress toward a two-state solution, two democracies living side-by-side in peace. There's a Prime Minister from Israel, Olmert, who is dedicated to a two-state solution. He comes to the United States and holds a press conference and says, I am dedicated; as a matter of fact, I am so dedicated, I'm campaigning on the platform that if need be, we will unilaterally make the decision that there's a Palestinian state. That's a remarkable statement. He also said that he is willing to reach out to President Abbas, which he has done. He's also reached out to other nations in the neighborhood in order to -- in order to make sure there's a negotiated settlement.

Yes George, it certainly is a remarkable statement.

Thanks to WIIIAI for pointing this out.

Exceptional. Powerful. Unabashedly truthful. Stan Goff consistently cuts through ALL the crap! And this essay is no exception: The P-Word, By Stan Goff [Feral Scholar] ==== Is Palestine. ==== And the discussion of Zionism for what it is -- exactly as we are witnessing right now -- a secular, racist political movement, characterized by expansionism and militarism , is going to have to happen online, because neither the mainstream press nor mainstream politicians will touch it with a ten-foot pole -- even when it is piling up more bodies as it leads the world into a regional disaster. ...

Robert: I have no difficulty accepting the notion that Bush and Olmert both are genuinely dedicated to the prospect of a "two-state solution". The *problem*, in my mind, lies in the fact that the "two states" THEY obviously have in mind as a "solution" are, in fact, Zionist Israel and the NeoConNazi US! The rest of the world, insofar as they're concerned, can simply "drop dead"! (And indeed, much of it may well do so, owing to the glaringly hypocritical, blatantly fawning, mutual coddling of the two Fascist Reichs.) ==== Besides, considering the total lack of respect Israel has traditionally exhibited for the sovereignty of its neighbors, what conceivable *difference* could any such "agreement " -- with the *Palestinians* -- make? Israel has sought to forcibly undermine the *democratically* elected Hamas government from its very inception, and has initiated a sweeping campaign of brutal, state-sponsored terrorism in both Gaza and the *sovereign* nation of Lebanon -- both incursions based on the thinnest of pretexts, which were then used to "justify" outright Crimes against Humanity. The Israeli government, quite clearly, cannot be trusted in any way!
