Finding Nemo

Nemo wanted me to tell everyone that he is still alive and well and will be back soon.

He was arrested outside the Pentagon while protesting the war. He was taken into custody not for protesting, but because he was protesting while wearing only a pair of combat boots and a Viking helmet.

OK, that's not true.

He was arrested, but it was for trying to give German Chancellor Angela Merkel a neck massage......while wearing only combat boots and a Viking helmet.

OK, that's not true either.

He's having computer and ISP problems and just wanted me to say hi to everyone and tell you that he shall return........

Wearing combat boots and a Viking helmet.

Robert: Thanks very much. Although, I could at least have used a pair of Lederhosen. ;-) I'm at least.temporarily back "in the groove" , though it may not last long, through the judicious substitution of some (unauthorized) alternate DNS servers in my setup. My stupid [EarthLink] ISP decided to suddenly start "trapping out" alleged DNS errors on its own, with *its* DNS servers redirecting to a phony, "helpful" error web page. Problem is, using those bastardized DNS servers subsequently produced increasingly *constant* (and utterly BOGUS) "Not Found" errors for some very existent, very standard URLs. Strangely, despite the insistences of the ISP that "all is well" with the modification, using an *alternate* [standard] DNS server yields consistently reliable web browsing, versus that false trail of "Does Not Exist" messages. "Curious", eh? (Yet the dolts are insisting that their unannounced, illicit changes work just fine! GRRRR!!!) I may still be pre-occupied for a while looking for another ISP -- I don't like the way the wind blew on this one at all. (The corporate types didn't even advise the Call Center Reps of the change!!!) ==== Oh, and I'm sure Angela Merkel is a very nice lady, but ... I'll leave any neck rubs to our illustrious Molester-in-Chief. ;-)
