Take the what out of my what?

___________________________________

It's always been my policy here at Thorn Tree and past blogs to never, ever reveal the e-mail addresses of people to write to me with either positive or negative feedback about my blog.

I am keeping with that policy yet I simply wished to respond publicly to a couple of recent very colorful messages I received. You will know who you are I'm sure.

To e-mailer number one:

Thank you for the kind suggestion. In the future, I will always take the cock out of my mouth before I begin to write. It really had never occurred to me, and I'm really hoping this will improve my concentration.

To e-mailer number two: Questioning my parentage is not what I would consider an insult. Unfortunately, I know exactly who my father is. Perhaps you should try an insult with the word "cock" in it. It gets my attention every time.

And finally, number three: I'm really trying to figure out if yours was a threat or an offer. If it was a threat, it was a damn good one. If it was an offer, errr.... no thanks.

Okey last post before hitting the sack. I'm off work, for a long time I think, stuck on my chair surfing from blog to blog with a bunch of medications that are just getting me high.

A few years ago it would have been unthinkable to demonize the right and call them "fascists". Well the left did it a few years ago though, and today the left is not all alone anymore, more and more people from all over the world compare easily Bush to Hitler. It is not only the man that is being criticized in some cases, it is also the whole legislative armada that is qualified of hitlerian thesis. Here is a text that I found interesting, deeper and more subtle within the hitlerian classification: A Democratic Dictatorship

Amidst all the discussion and debate about whether President Bush has violated the law by ordering the National Security Agency (NSA) to record telephone conversations, we must not overlook an important fact: the United States is now traveling in uncharted waters, ones in which the ruler of the nation is exercising omnipotent power over the American people. A more appropriate word would be one that offends some Americans when it is applied to their system of government: dictatorship. But as uncomfortable as that term might make Americans, the fact is that ever since 9/11 Americans have been living under dictatorial rule.

What is a dictator? A dictator is a ruler whose powers are omnipotent, that is, unconstrained by external or superior law. A dictator has the power to take whatever actions he wants without concerning himself about whether they are legal. Anything the dictator does is legal because he is the law.

(...)

Some Americans become offended whenever critics bring up the name of Adolf Hitler in discussing the dictatorial powers that President Bush is now exercising. They miss the point. When critics bring up Hitler’s name in the context of Bush’s exercise of dictatorial powers, they’re not suggesting that Bush and Hitler are somehow equivalent evils or that Bush has committed the horrors that Hitler committed.

What they’re instead saying is that Hitler sets a good benchmark for what dictatorship involves. Therefore, he provides a good means by which to measure the powers being exercised by another ruler. If George W. Bush or any other American president exercises the same types of omnipotent powers that Hitler exercised, that should serve as a powerful wake-up call for the American people, who have long wondered how the German people could have allowed Hitler to become a dictator (see my article “How Hitler Became a Dictator”).

Therefore, the issue is not whether Bush is a “good” man, as many of his supporters contend. The issue is whether this “good” man has assumed dictatorial powers in the wake of 9/11. The issue also is whether any man, good or evil, should ever be given dictatorial powers.

(...)

Does the person who is labeled a “terrorist” have the right to appeal such a determination? No. Even if the designated terrorist is a newspaper editor, a prominent celebrity, or a well-known anti-war critic, the president’s determination is final. Keep in mind that, according to the president and the Pentagon, we are at war and neither the courts nor the Congress should be permitted to interfere with the military decisions made by the Pentagon and the commander in chief.

Read the whole link, very informative for concerned and responsible world's citizens.

Captain Cabbage and his happy campers are giving you a, er stimulating time I see. LOL.

PS - my fascist country - after the blog ban - is proceeding with more bans - taking away adults' rights to choose their "western" entertainment. We are supposed to be watching cartoons - but even thats doubtful - cos too much violence there -so the Lady in Charge is considering scrapping those as well. She also wants to "tone" down the news cos its not family viewing material.

Forgive me my selfish non-participation in your debates of late - too much occupies my tiny brain and I fear for its safety. Till another time - when I'm more light headed than now!!!

I missed you Barnita. Hope things are going well.

Fate is so weird. I met some Colombian guys tonight in a bar that are working on the same project as me. I am smashed out of my skull, but let me say one thing.

There is a force so powerful in this universe that pulls us like-minded individuals together. It is much more powerful than these Christo-fascists' "God".

We will win. These shitheads that are trying to hijack our world for their own selfish purposes will lose. Don't worry, guys.

Sorry I am drunk. I'll go to AA tomorrow.

Have one for me please, I haven't been drinking in a long long time now, otherwise I would pass out on medications :)
It is good to feel clean though, I feel much better, and most particularly I do not feel head up my ass the following day and I do not feel depressed either.

Hey guys, you are going to see me a whole lot in here and in other blogs too. I found a cool blog called www.superfrenchie.com Do you remember the French boycott? The guy sells stickers "annoy Bill O'Reilly, buy French products". It is a blog in English and it's very funny, it shows the french and american rantings and political issues as well. In this blog they are trying to fix things up between the French and Americans, but there are also liberals and leftists and there are also people picking on other people. I've been kind of congratulated for posting "meaningful" feelings. Can you beleive that? The little frenchie is going back to writing, that's the only thing I can do right now anyway, and I feel I need to write to keep myself busy, it's also part of social integration and projecting myself to communicate with other people about a little bit of everything.

I'm off work for 2 weeks right now. I beleive it's been a month already. I am not sure at this time I will be able to go back to work and I may go to surgery if I cannot take care of the problem. My spine does not support anymore my weight due to ruptured discs. I have no idea how I did that, I was laying down in bed, then I turned on the side and I heard like something tore up. The result is I don't fucking walk anymore. When I think that I was joking with B. last time about that and my joke slapped me on the face :(

So anyway let's have some fun and let's not take political issues that seriously tcha tcha tcha!
